Translational Research – Research & Surgical Research Lab

Translational research often interchangeably with translational medicine or translational science or bench to bedside but all in the effort to build on basic scientific research to improve current protocols or develop novel ones. Our Department of Surgery has its own molecular laboratory since 2014 to bridge the gap between surgeons and scientist. Currently these works are being carried out by members from Urology, General Surgery and Neurosurgery. Our Breast team work closely with Cariff Malaysia to achieve similar goals.
