Cancer is the second leading cause of death globally.\u00a0 In Malaysia, cancer is the fourth leading cause of death and an important health concern among Malaysians. Cancer control and prevention strategies in reducing incidence, mortality and improving cancer survival are major health issues. Prevention, control and management of cancers can be made accessible and affordable to the population through collaboration with various stakeholders and integrated into the social, economic, environmental and health system to establish a robust platform for effective control of cancer in Malaysia.<\/p>

My research focus on cancer; specifically breast cancer patients, to improve their life after diagnosis through research on cancer survival and quality of life, treatment outcomes, and patient-centered outcomes in Malaysian settings. Also actively involved in research activities\u00a0 of cancer awareness, health literacy, return to work, diet, nutrition and physical activity , survival and survivorship care plan. For implementing an integrated survivorship care plan in public hospital setting need to explore and understand patient’s, health care provider’s and health system’s need.\u00a0 Other areas of research interest are return to work, outcome and associated factors of\u00a0 financial support , rehabilitation\u00a0 in survivorship period and evidence based medicine.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
